The County’s goal for the project is to create a modern and user-friendly document that: Makes the standards and regulations, as well as the development process, easier to understand and navigate Implements the goals and policies adopted in the Vision 2026 Comprehensive Plan Guides development in diverse environments in the County that are experiencing a variety of growth patterns Incorporates modern best practices The project consists of six tasks that are scheduled over approximately two years (see the Timeline ). You are encouraged to use this web site throughout the project to check the status of the project, review work products, and provide feedback (see How to get involved in the update process ). Project Status A draft of Module 2 is now complete and available for the public to review. It is the second of three modules, and includes general provisions, administration and enforcement provisions, and definitions for both the Zoning Ordinance and the Subdivision Regulations.
